It was a hot Sunday afternoon at UC Irvine’s Anteater Ballpark at Game 3 of the 2nd annual Elite Baseball Series. The final game of the 2009 Elite Baseball Series displayed the many talents of both the players from the Elite Black and Elite Gold Team, but two players stood out in particular. Elite Baseball would like to congratulate Trent Boras INF out of JSerra High School and Chris Paul INF/RHP out of Laguna Beach High School for being nominated the EBS UC Irvine Game 3 Players of The Game.

Trent Boras went 2 for 3 at the plate, was walked once, scored two runs and started the rally in the 9th with a lead off single to help the black score two runs in the 9th for Elite Black.  He also played excellent defense at 3rd base. Chris Paul also had an impressive offensive showing as he scored two runs, and went 3 for 4 at the plate including a home run for Elite Gold.  The winning pitcher was Michael Jordan out of Murrieta Valley High School.
